Mike Rundell is a Reverse Mortgage Sales Manager and mortgage loan officer with SUCCESS® Lending. He helps homeowners, homebuyers, and real estate investors explore financing strategies aligned with their property and financial goals.
Mike’s primary focus is reverse mortgages. He works with eligible homeowners who want to better understand how a reverse mortgage may help them access a portion of their home equity, purchase a new home, or improve their quality of life while remaining in their current home. Mike takes an educational approach, carefully explaining available options so homeowners and their families can make informed decisions.
Mike also specializes in Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) loans and other investment property financing solutions. He works with real estate investors seeking financing based primarily on a property’s potential rental income, whether they are purchasing their first rental property or expanding an existing investment portfolio.
Before beginning his mortgage career in 2020, Mike worked as a physician. His professional background shaped the analytical, detail-oriented, and educational approach he now brings to mortgage lending. He takes time to understand each borrower’s circumstances, explain available loan options, and provide clear guidance throughout the financing process.
Whether you are considering a reverse mortgage, purchasing an investment property, expanding a rental portfolio, buying your first home, or refinancing an existing mortgage, Mike is committed to helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.
From the SUCCESS® Lending home office in Schaumburg, IL, Mike serves borrowers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington.
